Don't Walk to be noticed.....
..........you are noticed by the way you walk..............

WORTHY OF THE LORD!

Lust: Everything that glitters ain't gold!

It's funny how after you have lusted over someone or something, once you have it in your possession, up close and personal, it amazingly looses its luster.  The appeal or attractiveness of a thing or person gives off the illusion that its worth having but when you receive it and guilt follows, that's usually the tap on your shoulder that reminds you that you should have never made advances toward something you could not afford or writing a check that your butt can't cash.  Whether its a person or thing, the cost of receiving it is so high that you wished you never fell for the temptation of it all in the first place.

Temptation or when we are being tempted comes from our own desires.  They entice us and draw us away.  Our attention then is not on eternal things but earthly things.  Most importantly, our attention have then which was focused on God, being our first love has been substituted for a counterfeit which again gives off the illusion that it is the real thing.  BUT we ultimately have a choice between choosing that which is genuine, most importantly alive versus that which is dead and is not cognizant that you are alive but most importantly, that which we allow ourselves to be drawn away from was made by the very hands they we have forsaken.

The temptations derive from our very own desires which gives birth to sinful action.  Uh oh, "sinful action" equates to "willful disobedience to God."  Have we broken the first commandment which presses upon us to love God the Father with all our heart, soul, and strength?  When we sin beloved, or allows it to grow, it gives birth to a child called death.

Can you hear the "sweet velvety" sounds of the serpent as he is conversing with Eve, the mother of all creation about a particular tree she was forbidden to eat from? His lips are as sweet as honey I could imagine while his mouth is smoother than oil.  BUT IN THE END, HE IS AS BITTER AS POISON, AS DANGEROUS AS A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD.  His intentions is to drag you down to death and will lead you straight to the grave.  He cares nothing about the path of life, for he came to steal, kill and destroy. Yes, I have borrowed the lines from Proverbs 5 about avoiding immoral women, but that which you allow yourself to be drawn away whether it be immoral women, men, high fashion, food, education, prestige, power, etc. it somehow speaks a language to you that only you can identify and then you must make a choice of whether to converse with the object or person or remind yourself while being tempted is just as Jesus shut the devil down, "GET OUT OF HERE, SATAN," JESUS TOLD HIM.  "FOR THE SCRIPTURES SAY, YOU MUST WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE ONLY HIM."  Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.

It's no coincidence that every time I go into my email that on the right hand side of the screen there are advertisements of purses, clothing, sales from my favorite department stores. They speak out and cry out, "Dana, I'm on sale, buy me."  Often times it happens when I have no money or funds are low and then you know what the next thought that comes into play, "WHY DON'T YOU USE YOUR CREDIT CARD AND PAY IT OFF NEXT MONTH?"  Cold you imagine going through the motions on a daily basis?  The death part is finding yourself with a bill at the end of the month with a high percent rate that you cannot afford.  Could  have used that money in a more God glorifying way? Of course but you can't serve two masters.  You will either hate one and love the other.  I'm not suggesting one is better than the other, but can you imagine choosing an inanimate object over the one, true, living God?  I have on numerous occasions and many of us do with our closets filled with endless stacks of shoes and clothes with tags on them.  The disgraceful part of it all is that we are trying to keep up with the Jones but has anyone considered whether Mr and Mrs Jones was spiritually poor yet having the world's riches?  And we try to live up to their example instead of the most excellent---Jesus the Christ!

We, myself included must not be misled, as James suggests to the disciples in chapter 1, "every good and perfect gift comes from God the Father."  Everything that glitters is not gold and if we keep our hearts, minds and strength centered on the One who matters, then we will not be so easily moved or misled.

Be blessed Divas!
From my heart to yours!

If I had known the sacrifice God made for my sins I would have offered my life up as a living sacrifice unto the Lord. I would have instead of trying to mend the broken pieces of the relationship I never had with my dad by living carelessly, selfishly, recklessly--

I could have invested more earnestly in the One who loved me first. But would I have appreciated it as much as I do now if my life would have taken a different course?

I think not, because today, I believe I love the Lord so much more because he forgave my many sins.

Divas, I am walking worthy intentionally!  Are you and when you walk, do you do so because you are aware of how much your witness matters?

Divas, whether in stilettos, flats, or sneaks......WE WALK WORTHY OF OUR CALLING!

Pick up, a sistah's calling!

Ladies,
If the Lord places someone on your heart, consider it a gentle reminder to reach out to that sistah.   Don't ignore the phone when it rings.  Pick it up!

Call her, shoot her a text or hit her up on facebook.  If you can't reach out to her right away,  take a few minutes to say a prayer for her and then when you are available, hit her up.  You may not know in full detail why the Lord placed her name in your heart-box even more reason you should reach out to her.

The Lord may not always come when you want him but he always answers on time.  We serve a faithful God and DIVAS WALKING WORTHY ARE FAITHFUL SERVANTS OF GOD!

He never shuns us away when we call....he always answers so when you're reminded to reach out to a sistah, call her!

Are we our sister's keeper?
Yes We Are!

Divas answering the call considering they may be the ones answering another sister's prayer! Remember, the next time the phone rings, someone might be answering a prayer for you!

Walk Worthy Divas and have a blessed day!

Word for the Day

DIVAS,

If you find yourself trying to find fault with someone else, perhaps there is sin knocking at your door.

Could it be jealousy, could it be envy?

Make sure you take spiritual inventory because if not careful, you might find yourself as the Judas being handed the bread dipped in the wine who then betrayed Jesus the Christ. Confess your sins and God said he is faithful and just to forgive us...

With that said, have a blessed day and remember,

Walk Worthy Ladies!

"A Sight for Sore Eyes"

DIVAS,
Are you in tune with whats going on in the world around you?  How is your reception when it comes to caring to see them that are hurting around you?  For instance, do you pay attention to some of the posts that friends on your list post?  When it seems they are dealing with an issue of life, do you drive on by or do you care enough to send them a message to show you care?

There are those that God place in our path with the expectation that you will see but are your eyes opened?  WAKE UP DAUGHTERS, WAKE UP SONS!

We pray that we have eyes to see as Jesus or like Jesus but with those eyes, what do you think Jesus was using his eyes to see?  Someone could say he had sore eyes from all the pain he saw BUT He not only saw to save them from their sin, and their hurt that they not only suffer from but found difficulty to articulate.  I am grateful God had sore eyes for me and he is teaching me to have sore eyes for them that society refuses to see.

Why?  Is it because the sight is too sore on the eyes?  Shouldn't we who have been redeemed see them that are without hope found in the blessed gospel of Christ Jesus?

I believe there are some God intends for us to see.  They are meant for us to see because there are some sores that you see and can identify in the other.  You can identify the sore dead on because you recognize a similar sore within yourself.  Gratefully, God means for you to see the sore and even if you wanted to, you couldn't close your eyes because the pain in therm is so familiar.  Truth of the matter, helping them, helps you too!

Thank God for sore eyes--I pray that God in that moment when he allows you to see that you won't close your eyes but open them wide in order to see and then meet the need!

In Jesus' name,
Amen!

Inspired by Ephesians 5:1-14

Lips are luscious but are not meant to be kissed by everyone! You wouldn't share your gum with everyone after you have chewed it now would you?

Same rule applies here!

Much like body parts maybe attractive but not meant to be seen and touched by everybody.

DIVAS, don't be fooled by those that try to excuse these types of sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him.  For you who were in darkness, remember you now have light from the LORD.

So live, live as people of light by following the example of Christ!
Congrats Tamarra & Monte'
Good morning DIVAS Walking Worthy!

I had the privilege to be present to attend my baby sister's wedding.  It was a celebration and everything was done not only in decency and in order but in love.  If our mother was present, she would have beamed with light so bright and it would have overflowed out into the crowd of witnesses.

Instead of her being there, God's presence was there and he truly smiled on both my sister and her now hubby.  You were unable to have the privilege of attending but here is a poem I was asked to write as well as read while the lovely wedded couple to be lit the remembrance candle for our mother that was called from this life to glory Oct 2002.

A MOTHER’S LOVE
BY Dana L Christmas-McCain
My Daughter,
As you light this candle in remembrance of me
Baby girl, don’t cry for me
I’m in heaven delightfully kneeling at my Lord and Savior’s feet

LEAH,
As you light this candle today
Yes you were my youngest child
May the light be reminiscent of the light of God’s Word as He leads you and guides you all the way

TT-LEAH,
May the love I exposed you to be a glimpse of the greatest Source imaginable
The same love that motivated Christ to the Cross and offers salvation to the lost

Lil Mama,
Know that God is pleased with your decision
Much like Christ is your foundation in faith, may your marriage be built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and his righteousness

Montrelle,
He who finds a wife, finds a good thing
God finds favor with you my son
Be good to my daughter, she may be your wife but remember she first belongs to the Lord
Be careful how you treat her
Love my daughter as Christ loves the church

Tamarra,
The young woman and now a beautiful bride to be
Standing before a crowd of witnesses
Most importantly before the Lord’s precious eyes to see
Light this candle in jubilation
It truly is a celebration
Don’t just smile but may the joy from your heart beam and shout out, “My oh my, What a joyous occasion!”

Tamarra,
Remember, this is no time to cry for me
I love you my daughter
I love you my child
Leah, my baby, TT
Now a beautiful bride to be!
To God be the Glory!
Amen
Hello there my DIVAS Walking Worthy!

I just saw a video and something disturbed me......

A man's idea of gifting you with a key to his apartment is not romantic and neither is it an opportunity for you and him to take it to the next level or the next step in your relationship.

Your next step in a relationship should involve him asking you to be his wife if the Lord deems pleasing in His eyesight.

Ladies, don't compromise your values or your witness walking worthy because you think he's going to break up with you.  In fact, your walk should speak so that he would come correct by not insulting you by suggesting that you would accept such an offer.

You know your worth! You desire to do all that is pleasing to the Lord not the world and its views on shacking up!  A union that is blessed is one between a man and his wife.

Prayerfully, if you are dating he is a disciple of Christ and you wouldn't have to expect that of him.  If you are involved with someone that is not remember you can't change anyone and its definitely not your job to convert anyone. Be not unequally yoked with an unbeliever ladies.

Set the bar high because God most certainly has for you!  You are worth more than an invitation to be someone else's bed buddy, roommate, etc.

If he loves God with all his heart, he already knows that "the man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the LORD," Proverbs 18:22.

If he wants what is best for you, then may he give you his best because your heavenly Father most certainly intends that for his daughters.  Look up to Him that will keep you from falling and walking astray.  Walk worthy and walk in your Father's love because He wants what is best for you and his best is ALWAYS good enough, more than enough!

Remember Divas to Always Walk Worthy!
Who you calling a B****?

This morning my husband informed me while he read comments from the subscribers on black planet regarding Jay-z's and Kanye West's new album.  Apparently, in one of the songs, Jay-Z begins in the opening verses by speaking very highly of his wife Beyonce'.  Towards the end however he refers to her as "a dog" and suggests to someone who is looking to hard at her breasts to go out and get their own "b****."

Poor choice of words, poor use of judgment, a lack of respect and if ever a man feels he is so comfortable to the point where he can refer to you as a "female dog," then he needs a refreshers course on how to speak and treat a lady (if in fact he has been given a course that instructs him that that language is unacceptable).

B**** is not a term of endearment.  It is no different than a man being referred to as a n**** in my opinion.  Not to mention females referring to one another as a way to "show each other love."

This language is abusive and it is destructive.  It is deplorable and childish.  We truly have to put away childish things.  The Bible reads, "When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child."  Paul then continues on to say, "When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me," 1 Corinthians 13:11.

It's time that our young women "come out from among them".  Bitch is designated for anyone that is deemed disregarded and disqualified.  It is used towards those that the one who is handling the word to make the other feel beneath them, worthless, or deserving less than.  Well who made anyone a judge over you other than the heavenly Father?  Never allow anyone to call you anything outside your name especially when your heavenly Father does not address you as such.

You are loved, you are never rejected, you are accepted in the beloved; therefore, walk worthy because God has deemed you to be so!  You are not what the "world" says you are.  Never lose sight of who you are in Christ because he never loses sight of you!

Walk Worthy Ladies because you are worth something to God!

Oh How I love HIM!

Good Afternoon Sweethearts!

I just wanted to encourage you to stay on your knees until the Lord moves!  The best way to approach a situation is through prayer.  Seek God first. Acknowledge Him in all your ways.  In a nutshell--trust Him to do exceeding and abundantly above anything we can ever ask or think.

Pray specifically and watch how GOD answers specific prayers!  You want His will, play by His rules!

The prayers of the righteous availeth much beloved......

Smile, the Lord loves you and He always, always wants what's best for you!

You Are Loved!

Hi Lovely Ladies!

I just wanted to remind you that you are loved today and every day of your life.  You are accepted and never rejected by the love of God.  He first loved you and promised that nothing will ever separate you from his love.  Pray for them that are called to love, say they love but their words or actions do not reflect such.  Instead of focusing in on them and their actions, have mercy and remember a time when you may have said or done something to offend a brother or sister--humble yourself and pray for them.

Let go of the harsh words by replacing them with the Word of God that reminds us to think on these things, "whatever is lovely, pleasant, admirable, excellent, admirable, and praiseworthy.  (Phil 4:8)

Jesus was criticized often but as often he was criticized, he was found praying, blessing and forgiving jokers of their sins.  You follow his example by being obedient and let God handle the rest.

He loves you, he cares and he will rectify whatever situations that will arise.  You just make sure you get out of the way and let God righteously judge and handle the situation.  Thank God for prayer and thank God for His Word!

THANK HIM FOR BEING THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE!

Moment 4 Life

Moment 4 Life”

As she sings the hook, “I wish that I could have this moment for life…….cause in this moment I just feel so alive…….,” Nikki Manaj.

I wonder if that’s the high you feel after making millions and your fan base adores you.   So much so that they want to act like, talk like, even think like you, dress like you, and be like you…..
As I hear the words travel toward my eardrum, I feel a bit uneasy and then I can’t escape the idea of Jesus being in the wilderness after fasting 40 days and 40 nights followed by being tempted by the devil.
I, in no way shape or form compare Nikki Manaj to my Lord and Savior for they have nothing in common other than the fact that she was born as all men and women were born of a woman and in sin and He has been given the authority to forgive us of our sins. (Luke 5:24)
See the message of her song only stresses “the moment” but forgiveness of sins have eternal effects!  We are no different when we think only in terms of the moment, the right here and the right now, but I read in the Bible that “heaven and earth would one day pass away, but the Word of God shall not, Jesus said.” (Matthew 24:35)  As the songwriter wrote, “you better build your hopes on things eternal.”
In fact, it is her “lack-of ”or our lack thereof where Jesus the Christ can only supply and it is in that one moment of her life she can be forever changed from death to life and life to life eternal.
In that one encounter, that one moment with Jesus the Christ will she ever see herself for who she really is—lost yet to be found.  Sinful yes, she too is in need of salvation.  In that one moment of her life, her life……..She has yet to know what it means when she says, “in this moment I just feel so alive, alive.”  In order to be alive one must first be “made alive” from being dead in both trespasses and sins.
Yet she defines her life in the moment of superstardom, status, fame, money, jewels, cars, and clothes.  An image, a dream, a brand that she knows majority of her fans cannot afford.  She sells you the idea that “Hollywood couldn’t change her and paints ghetto life as if it’s glamorous but her address ain’t no where near the ghetto!
Young women look up to her, idolize and imitate her but the Bible says, “thou shall not have no other God before me,” and “we ought to be imitators of Christ!”  See if the devil can convince you to think that you are the “star” then who needs God?  What do you think got him kicked out of heaven?
This leads me right into the next point.  Jesus is the mirror we all can look into that will never lie.  A mirror that shows the reflection of the heart of every human being—depraved, sin-sick and destined for hell if he or she rejects the only way men and women can be saved!
As she’s singing, “I wish that I could have this moment for life, but at what price?  What are you willing to give up for “this moment?”  She goes on and says, “cause in this moment I just feel so alive……”  My question to you is after you have gained everything in this world i.e. money, cars, jewels, status, etc. the position where you stand as if you are on top of the highest mountain looking out unto to the world, did you know that everyone has a day of judgment?
We need to get our heads out of the clouds.
The devil is offering so many “the world” in the form of:
a.       The lust of the flesh
b.       The lust of the eyes
c.       The pride of life
The scripture continues in 1 John 2:17, “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”
What I find is that Jesus’ response to the devil after he tries to offer Him all the kingdoms of the world and in doing so the devil says he will offer “the One by whom all things are made and without Him nothing was made,” the devil offers, no he said he would give Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of the Father “all authority and their glory for this has been delivered to him and he will give it to whomever he wish.”  All of this comes out of Luke 4:5-8.
When has the devil ever been so unselfish?  He is a liar and he always has plans that lead to killing, stealing, and destroying—you.
You wish that you could have this moment for life?  Well how much is your life worth?  How much would you give in exchange for your life or your soul because while you are impressed with the glitter and the gold it is then your soul he is after?
The devil lives for authority and glory but they both alone belong to God the Father.  Heaven is his throne and the earth is His footstool.   And what I find laughable is that the devil doesn’t offer us anything other than what feeds our flesh, our eyes and our pride but we can no longer fall for it!
Look at how Jesus replies, “Get behind Me Satan!”  I believe that was figurative for you are a liar and a defeated foe.  He continues with the dribble and dunks, “You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve,” swishhhhh!
First of all, it’s never about you having a moment in life that outshines having a relationship with the Father through Christ.  If you are not in fellowship with the Father, then you are missing out on the best moment of your life—today, tomorrow and forever.
To experience life, you must first be exposed to the one way to truth through Jesus Christ! (John 14:6)  You will continue to forfeit your soul for some chump change while spending eternity in hell.
See it’s like God extending an invitation to you but you refuse it or reject it because your eyes are fixed on “worldly things.”  You feel like you have been deprived, and now that you have “made it” you are the star of the show.  Nikki says that she will retire with the ring and she will retire with the crown.  Those that will receive their crown are them that “endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him,” James 1:12.
God the Father, unlike the devil offers us Himself.  He not only offered Himself but He offered us His best gift, the life of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
I have never felt so alive since I accepted Jesus Christ into my life.  And in knowing Him, the experience grows sweeter every day.  Yes, the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, a sinner like me is truly a moment that carries over to a lifetime into eternity.
Seek not a kingdom, a dynasty etc. for yourself……..But rather, “Seek ye the kingdom of God first and His righteousness, and all things shall be added to you,” Matthew 6:33.
Cause it’s within that moment you will feel so alive…………..alive…….
In that moment, He can change your life….
In that moment, He will offer you more than money could ever buy……
In fact, as she states, “greatness is what we—‘cash money clique’ are on the brink of” but Jesus the Christ teaches us that greatness is found in serving, not to be served but serve and give His life a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)
Jesus Christ gave it all with no regard for his own life.  He left heaven filled with streets paved with gold, seated at the right hand of the Father……He became poor so that we could be rich spiritually.  Getting to know him is the moment you will never regret and whatever state you are in you will be content because with HIM, you realize earthly possessions do not define you and one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he or she possesses!
You wait all your life for this one moment 4 life………make sure it’s a born-again moment for life………..for life

Reflection from Single Women's Conference

On Saturday, July 16, 2011, Minister in Training Kimberly Credit hosted a Single Women's Conference titled, The Comfort of THE MAN!

Although I am a married woman now, as I listened to each speaker, I couldn't help but to reflect on my own experience as a single woman and if I was fortunate to have heard what these three dynamic women said, I would have avoided a few dead end streets but praise God all things work together for good for them that love God and are called according to his purpose--including my past he uses and now gets the glory.

**Min Credit's portion will be added at a later date due to copyright issues ok.  I want to do her piece justice and to the glory of God therefore "her-share" will be added later.**

Point of the story though is that although we who have been pulled out of the fire are alive to tell our stories, it is paramount that you my beautiful single ladies understand is that you don't have to learn by necessarily experiencing difficult situations in your lives first hand but it is in fact beneficial to learn from the mistakes of others.  You don't have to learn the hard way.

And as the poised Kyra Braxton said it on Saturday, "Share with what you are given....being stingy is plain evil!"

Prayerfully by sharing what I have learned, you will think twice or maybe three times before dipping and diving in situations that continue to lead you in ditches, despair, and hopelessness.  Prayerfully, instead of running into the arms of the familiar that leaves you comfortless, desperate and empty, you will find comfort, love and hunger filled in the arms of The Man--the Heavenly Father through the blood of Jesus Christ.

EVANGELIST ZIPPORAH
God the Father loves you. In the Midnight hour, he loves you.  When you are alone, when you don't reach out to him--he loves you. He deeply loves you.  God loves you especially different and like cookies love milk and french fries love ketchup. God will turn your mess into the message.
Nobody got swagger like Jesus!

All things are lawful but do not edify you! (1 Corinthians 10:23)
Back to the way the Lord made us. (Genesis 2:21-24)  Beyonce had it right when she said "If you like it then you should have put a ring on it," but she made a wrong turn with "Girls run the world."  Women in the Body of Christ need to get in order.  Stop with putting your will in the way of God's!
"God has a will for our lives and until we get in line with his will, we hinder the process!"

Last but not least,  we don't belong to ourselves; and He loves you--its incomprehensible how much Jesus Christ loves you!

KYRA BRAXTON

"Getting Hold of God"  "Get Hungry"
John 6:22-34

Focusing on verse 34
Something in you is calling for a rescue--hungry.
Hunger takes you to a place and to another level.  When people get hungry, you cannot control them anymore.  It gets dangerous.

Spiritual Hunger
1.  Remember that when you are hungry, you will get filled.  Also pay attention to your appetite, to your taste because appetite matters.  Referencing 1 Cor 10:23  What you are hungering for, make sure it brings you nourishment and edifies.  Somethings that were good for your father, mother or
grandmother may not nourish you.
2.  Changing your diet will ultimately change your lifestyle.  Changing our spiritual pursuit does not necessarily agree with everyone in our circle.  Our new lifestyle will cause you to take RISKS.
DESPERATION: stir it up--push yourselves out there, that's when we catapult and start a new level with our walk with God.
Always remember, being hungry may offend some folks but there are rewards--being filled with living water!  Share with others what you are given because being stingy is plain evil!

EVANGELIST KAREN MCCALL
Psalm 139:13-15 NKJV & NLT

"Who you are!"
Whatever our issues are, we have to trace it from the beginning.  Who we are is who God says we are!
(I had to remember what lead me to this issue of rejection, which lead to discontentment, etc.)  Evan McCall made me go back to my issue.

It all begins with confession of things with my heavenly Father. Secrets will kill you!  Whether they be issues with your family etc, you must deal with them and not sweep them under the rug.

We must confront the matters of the heart and stop living lies!
(I was reminded that I must expose the evil for what it is.  Don't keep my mouth clothed.)

We are challenged to expose those dark things in our lives to the light of Christ if we want to be free from bondage because if not, the enemy will mess with your mind.

Again, learn to deal with your issues in order to be set free!
If you know who you are, who are you?

I hope these gold nuggets will bless you in some way, shape, form or fashion as we were on the day of the conference.  And remember, before establishing a relationship with a man, begin establishing a relationship with "the Man," who knew you before you were in your mother's womb.  Be real with Him about your issues of the heart so that He may restore you so if it is in the Lord's will for you to be married, you will enter into a covenant that is healthy and built on a right foundation--THE ROCK--Jesus Christ!

Just because I am a woman doesn't mean that I should have a closet full of clothes and shoes but willing to be a blessing to them that do not have. My life does not consist in the abundance of my possessions. I will be on guard against all kinds of covetousness and or greed. Talk about being a Diva...more like a Diva Destined 4 Contentment!
One of the fruit of the Spirit is self-control, so why are our Christian parents teaching their children a false gospel of birth-control, condoms etc?  If sex before marriage wasn't acceptable for me, you, and we when we did it then why are we presenting our children with the option, the option to sin against God?

Abstinence = No Sex B4 Marriage =Obedience to God

Word for Today!

If you stay around the Word of God long enough, you will either reject that sin which you loved and that placed a wedge between you experiencing true love between you and the Father through his Son Jesus Christ, or you will find yourself engaging in a civil war within yourself bc the sin you delve in and enjoy--you can no longer bc the truth won't let you lie comfortablely in the filth that the Word was meant to cleanse you from in the first place!

Thoughts for the day.....

If marriage was good enough for Ken and Barbie, then why who are not inanimate objects playing house?

Paper-chasers chase, they lose their lives.  Why paper chase when my Father says, "For all the world is mine and everything in it," Psalm 50:12b"

Thoughts throughout the week!

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope," Jeremiah 29:11.
Remember whatever you are dreaming up make sure God is in the plans:)

The Lord showed me 2day "why the caged bird sings." He/she sings bc where the Spirit of the Lord is (regardless of the circumstances) there is LIBERTY. No past is 2 grimy for Him to use for His glory. GOD does the choosing & will use the foolish things of this world to put to shame them that are wise. I thank God for the treasure in earthly vessels to show the surpassing  and not to pwr belongs to God us!

He died so that you may Live

Last night during Maundy Thursday service i couldn't help but to think about how as my pastor so eloquently proclaimed, "let this cup," allow this cup to pass from me Father because He couldn't bare to be separated from him. Jesus became sin for us, enduring the punishment that we so rightfully deserve and if Jesus couldn't stand to be separated from the Father because he then became sin for God does not dwell in any unclean place, then my God have mercy on them that know not God.

There is mercy on this side of the grave along with grace but judgement and condemnation--hell for them that reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I don't think, no--i know i would not be able to live out eternity separated from AlmightyGod. For them that know not God, the one true living God--tomorrow is not promised but when God extends to you the opportunity to experience another day, take it as an invitation to accept His love and Lordship but as you intentionally reject his love at the same time, you are willingly accepting condemnation.

May you humble yourself and have a heart to receive the truth of God's Word.
'If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved," Romans 10:9."

"Look! I stand at the door and knock.  If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends," Rev. 3:20.

Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart by way of this message.  Will you let Him in?  My prayer is that you will.  Once you have said yes,  go and be apart of a bible believing body of Christ and begin your new life as a Christian/child of God.

Lastly, for those that say within their hearts, "I love God and that's enough."  Well, Jesus said, "If anyone loves me, they will obey my teachings.  My Father will love him or her and we will come to him or her and make our home with them," John 14:23.

To God be the glory forever and ever.....Amen!

Letters from Heaven

“Letter from Heaven”
You were fearfully and wonderfully made.  God made you and not you yourselves.  He didn’t assign the task of creating you to someone else.  No, he weaved and knitted you in your mother’s womb himself.  God orchestrated the symphony of your creation by titling it with your name.  Yes, write your name here______________________ and read aloud,

____________________________ was fearfully and wonderfully made.  The Potter placed his hands in the earth and created you from the dust.  All powerful and magnificent, holy and all wise God came so close that He didn’t sit from afar and created you, no He was involved in the process.  He didn’t stand by and give orders while He watched someone else form you in your mother’s womb, but He was at the forefront of the assembling.

He is the reason you have breath and are able to have life but eternal life He desires for you.  Yes, He that has made you wants to commune with you.  He does not want you to live isolated from Him but he desires to walk with you.  He desires to talk with you.  He wants to be close but he refuses to invade.  Instead, He would rather that you invite Him into your heart.

Eternity yes, he wants you to spend with him but here on earth, he desires fellowship and sweet communion.   When he knocks on the door of your heart, will you answer?  When he tells you that he loves you, will you believe him?  He offered both you and the entire world his most precious gift, his only Son to be a ransom for sin-sickness but will you accept Him?

Fearfully and wonderfully made you are not because you chose to be but God……God, again the Potter and you are the clay—how can you be comfortable living without getting to know Him?  How can you say you love him but walk apart from Him? Will you bow down and worship Him?  Will you?

You have trusted in everything and accessed nothing in return except regret, hurt and pain.  However, the
One that fearfully and wonderfully made you wonderful for you too are one of His works will steer clear away from Him.  Your heart is in need of a transplant and He is the only surgeon that can perform the procedure.  Will you come?

He created you yes, but the sin you are in was originated from Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  A sentence of death was then transferred to life thru the Son, Jesus the Christ is his name.  Will you say yes?  The breath you breathe keeps your body physically alive but spiritually you’re dead.  Will you trust Him?
You who want to be spiritually revived, come by the Potter’s house.  He’s knocking will you let him come into the doors of your heart?  He’s knocking until his Son returns again.  Will you let Him in?

A fool says in heart there is no God and deny God is to deny the very one that gave you life.  It is God who has made us and not we ourselves.  How can you deny Him?  You want a hope and a future you say, well  Jesus is the door to the promises of God.  Will you say yes?  Say yes while you have time!

My heart speaks.....

Father God in the Mighty Name of Jesus, I pray dear Lord that you will reveal yourself to me in a very different but yet familiar way.  Help me to see my purpose in full as I strive to live out my Christ-like character in this vessel.  Please show me my sins so that I may repent and be clean by the washing of your Holy Spirit.  Produce in me a mind that is continually shaped by the Word made Flesh.  Oh, how much you love me and care for me.  Never have you left me astray.  You are truly ever mindful of me and my situations.  Thank you because without You, when I did not know you, I went on my own.  Now that I am wiser, I see that when you order y footsteps and direct my pathways, there is life, light, and truth.  May I cling to that rugged old cross where my Savior died.  Embracing his divinity and allowing what Christ my Lord has taught to be the road map by which I follow and for those I am call to lead.  May I be saturated with a spirit of servitude and humility with every awakening moment aware that it was you who made me and not me myself.  Clothe me in your righteousness anchored in your truth in love.  no one has ever pursued me like you have and I pray that my affection will only be toward you.  Heavenly Father, may you only have my heart and it is to you I will run when you call. May I never put anyone before you regardless of how strange the request may be.   Please teach me to love you better and better.  And when I think I have reached perfection in anything that I do, remind me immediately that I am here and the ability to do what I have been set apart to do, is first and foremost because of You……..
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen!

Father,
I am unworthy of the peace you give to me.  oh how my soul cries out and am very grateful that you chose me when I did not consider your thoughts.  How amazing is that?  You loved me when I thought that I did not need you or anyone else for that matter.  I remember how you would warn me through my mother’s cries and I would not take heed.  I was too grown for my own good.  I was too much of a big mouth in order to close my mouth so that I may listen.  Thank you for teaching me your statues that say, bridle thy tongue.  Rebellious and worthy of condemnation but you chose me out of the fire.  I could have perished with no one to come to my aide but You dispatched your angel that then lifted me up off of a hallway floor and lead me to safety.  I was still blinded by my pride and selfishness to truly comprehend what you were indeed doing.  What were you doing?  Well I like to call it, pulling me out of the fire—not only in this life but the next.  You not only pulled me out just so that I could live but that I may one day live for you.  that's worship!  You were not only saving me but I would one day be preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is the power of God unto Salvation for there are some young people that have to get this.  Our young men and women that have no hope other than what is false.  They search for love but to find death lingering in their bottles of liquor, beds filled with bodies exchanging fluids and spirits, drugs whether intravenously or orally.  Our young people that have grown faint and weary.  Some of our young people have given up on life because the ones called to love them have not.  Father, please give me a heart to love them even when they reject my love.  Give me a heart to love them even when they say things to hurt me.  May I get down on my knees and pray.  Father when I have run out on things to say, I’ll just say thank you just for the opportunity to be loved by you and to love regardless of what is on the other end but what is there for me is always for my good because of you.  May I love because you loved me before I reciprocated.  Thank you that your love is not predicated on me loving you.   May that be one of the lessons I teach my young people.  And Father, when it seems as though my love is running on E, please give me an extra portion.  I love you. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
By Dana  L. Christmas-McCain

When I say, “I love you!”
Know that what I say is true
My love for you is eternal
My love is exceptional
And I lived so that you would have a godly example to do it too
No need to describe it with words
One word would suffice
CROSS
Where My body was bruised, nailed, and left to hang high
Yes, I have done more than “crossed hearts and hoped to die”
I soften hearts with a gentle knock
Resurrected so you wouldn’t have to taste death
Yes daughter of mine
I love you and you will never have to doubt whether it’s a lie
My love outweighs all the “Valentine Days”
I gave more than cards, candies and sexual escapades
Daughters, I love you and did not have to be persuaded
Me, yes me
I loved you first
Didn’t have to wait until after the first 50 dates
No my child, my love does not pervert
It’s the essence of my being
Although holy I desired to give you the best gift
Me
Only to you I pray that I would be enough
But some of you weigh my love against the number of Hershey kisses, teddy bears and other perishable stuff
Daughter I love you
I gave you my best gift
He hung high with his arms wide and for you I turned away
So that you and I would be reconciled some day
Can you see how much you are loved?
Even when others ignore you
Reject you
Mistreat you my child
Know that your FATHER is available and my love continues to unfold
One petal at a time
So as you stop and smell the roses
Or dig into that box of chocolates
Know that I wrote the most inspired letter written
The best love story ever penned
For my love is eternal and by the demonstration on the cross
Can you see that I am very much committed?
I won’t force you to read it though
Nor will I forcefully enter your heart
Remember, I’m a Gentleman
I promise I won’t break your heart
But remember when the men in your life fail you
I am trustworthy and will never leave you nor forsake you
The love I have for you is beyond human
I love thee with an everlasting love
I love you freely
Rich in mercy I am
A great love I have for you
Void of the attempt to take advantage of you
You who dwell in love
Dwells in me
And I dwell in you
Rest in my love
Everlasting consolation
Good hope through grace
My love for you will exceed all of your expectations
I love you……
