You may not like it but Christ died and came to save everyone including the one who hates you BUT YOU ARE STILL CALLED TO LOVE THEM....... 

What Manner of LOVE is this?

If you could whisper, "I can live without the presence of God in my life," it is no different than shouting, "I CAN LIVE WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN MY LIFE!"

What a sad indictment......  
How most pitiful are you......
How dark and deep is your understanding of the love of God that took depths, leaps, and bounds to have fellowship with YOU........
It is no different than loving someone that does not love you..........

He LOVED you SO much that He left heaven to gather us like a hen does with her chicks. His name, "IMMANUEL--God is with us!"

"He was bruised for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought our peace, and with his stripes we are healed," Isaiah 53:5. (ESV)

REJECTING THE LOVE OF GOD is no different than those who......
despised him and rejected him--a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.  It's no different than turning our backs on Jesus and looking the other way.  He was despised and we didn't care.  YET......

IT WAS OUR WEAKNESSES HE CARRIED; IT WAS OUR SORROWS THAT WEIGHED HIM DOWN.  AND WE THOUGHT HIS TROUBLES WERE A PUNISHMENT FROM GOD, A PUNISHMENT FOR HIS OWN SINS!

BUT HE WAS PIERCED FOR OUR REBELLION, CRUSHED FOR OUR SINS.  HE WAS BEATEN SO WE COULD BE WHOLE.  HE WAS WHIPPED SO WE COULD BE HEALED.

He was counted among the rebels.  He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

WHAT MANNER OF LOVE IS THIS THAT YOU MAN, WOMAN OR CHILD CAN CONSCIOUSLY REJECT?

IT'S THE LOVE YOU SEARCH YOUR ENTIRE LIFE TO TRY AND FIND....

UNUSUAL BUT A GIFT NONETHELESS.......

I PRAY YOU THINK ON THESE THINGS, EACH TIME YOU LOOK FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES. I PRAY YOU THINK ON THESE THINGS WHILE YOU GAZE UPON YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE.  

HOW NOW MORE THAN EVER CAN ONE'S CHRISTMAS BE MERRY IF NOT HAVING RECEIVED TRULY THE MOST PRECIOUS AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE GIFT NOT PURCHASED OR MANUFACTURED BUT GIVEN FROM GOD TO US......

EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT COMES FROM ABOVE AND HE BEGAN BY LOVING US SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE THE LIFE OF HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST THAT WE COULD BE COUNTED RIGHTEOUS IN HIS SIGHT!

THE GIFT OF SALVATION  NO, IT WAS NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFULLY PACKAGED AND IT WAS NOT THE MOST MAJESTIC IN APPEARANCE BUT IT WAS THE MOST PERFECT GIFT GOD COULD EVER GIVE HUMANITY WRAPPED IN DIVINITY AND FLESH AND SEALED WITH HIS LOVE!

Worship and Prayer: A matter of the heart

As We Worship:
I just have worship and prayer on my heart from lasts night service at Loyal Baptist Church in the Bronx.  It amazes me how good God is and we truly have the capacity to worship Him in spirit and in truth if our hearts are fixed on Him.  In order to worship the Lord thy God it takes reverence and adoration for God.  It takes as David knew all too well to ask the Lord to create in me a clean heart and renew in me the right spirit.  He prayed, Lord please don't take your Holy Spirit from me.  God will not remove his Spirit from us but David's humility is a reflection of the position we ought to have each and every time we pray before the Lord.  We ought to count it all joy for the life we have in Christ Jesus.  We have the Spirit, the Holy Spirit residing within us and we ought to live as such by praying always that those things that are not of God will be extracted from our hearts that we may draw closer to Him.

As we worship,
1.  Worship God in spirit and in truth
2.  Pray always

Lord God, how I adore You......

The last thing a Christian ought to say is that "I am bored!" With so many lives void of hope in Christ Jesus, how can you dare say, I have nothing to do when there are unsaved family members staring at you. We know where to buy the hottest outfits but in time of trouble, no Word in our heart to speak to the situation. Phone is ringing off the hook but how often have you had a little talk with Jesus? Bored, nothing to do? I'm pretty sure there is someone in the nursing home or hospital that wouldn't mind a visit or too! No wonder the laborers are few when their hands are too busy with NOTHING to do!

As often as you remind her that she's beautiful, tell her that she's smart, brilliant, amazing, and has the capacity to accomplish much in Christ Jesus, so when she gets older, she won't rely so much on superficiality but being a woman of substance. Now that's beautiful! #Raisingourdaughterstobemorethaneyecandy

How deep is your Forgiveness?

Stephen was stoned (actually stoned) but the Spirit took him to another place where he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not charge them with this sin!" At what end of the pool does your forgiveness for others run? The shallow end? or the Deep end? Ask yourself that question the next time someone cuts you off, someone curses you out, steps on your toe, or if and when someone hurts you in any regard. Prayerfully in the face of opposition when your stance is for righteousness and the other opposes because of the cause of Christ, you will cry out from the deep end of the pool, "Lord please forgive them for they know not what they do!"

I'M ABOUT TO CHANGE MY MIND!

Well Loyal Baptist Church is about to change her mind! Minister Vanessa Hambrick preached from the text Romans 12:1-2 and echoing from the pulpit are the words, "you must have the willingness to be transformed!" Esther not only was willing to make a drastic change (transformed) but desired to have "fresh life and strength to her mind" (renewed). That's right, Esther while facing adversity changed he mindset in order to be victorious not just for her benefit but for her entire nation! Loyal, a church going M.A.D. (Making A Difference) must have this mindset! Praise God we got what we need in order to move in the right direction! Thank you Min.Vanessa Hambrick for challenging us that we may do greater works in Jesus' name!

We need to stop asking for the "real Jesus to stand up."  The real Jesus did stand up, stood up, rose up with all power in His hand and now sits at the right hand of the Father.  The real Jesus also spoke up, spoke out about sin and against the self-righteousness many of us are living in.  The real Jesus is God, is truth, is the way, is the life......For we who know the "real" JESUS, submit to his LORDSHIP and walk in truth outlined in Scripture, the way that is life and the life you live should reflect an old nature passing away while the inner man/woman is being renewed everyday. 

This is a walk by faith and not by feelings....
It was not meant to feel good but it's for your good

I understand what the older saints mean when they say,

As swift as we are to run out and get the newest, the best, the badest, we are slow to fill up the house of God considering the many matters or issues of the heart that we face everyday but instead of hurrying to God, we chase after stuff.  We as Christians must do better.  We truly must seek our attention, turn back to our first love and trust him to provide us with everything that we need.  As a matter of fact, we will go broke for the newest technology but won't go broke for God in terms of giving more financially, time, and talents FOR GREATER WORKS.  We want that which perishes, we choose not the things above but often times those things below that can't even compare.  Lord, I pray that we do better realizing that instead of choosing the tree that you forbade us to eat from we will be MORE satisfied with YOU in our lives!  THE ONE WHO OWNS AND CREATOR OVER EVERY THING!

You can Hate Me Now, But I Won't Stop Now

Your concern should not be "but i want people to like me." But when they do and will often times choose to especially if you are walking in your "I'm about my Father's business shoes," hate on you, don't sing "I've got the blues," but be thankful. God blesses you when people mock you, persecute you, lie about you and say all sorts of evil things about you because you are a follower of Christ. You just make sure that while they are on their jobs, you work harder at not being distracted from yours!

Beauty recognizes beauty and in case you haven't seen how beautiful you are, take another look at the mirror with your eyes open ladies! From one beauty to another!

Apart from You, I can do nothing.....

Lord God I need thee. 

May I never get to the place where I believe the lie that I can accomplish anything on my own. May I stay connected to the Vine, you Christ Jesus for your word says that apart from You I can do nothing. Ladies as you walk worthy, walk knowing that with every step you take towards accomplishing the will of God in your life, never believe for a second that you can accomplish it on your own. Always be mindful that apart from God you can do nothing. Know that apart from him, God's will for your life will not be completed. You came to Christ in humility therefore continue to walk humbly, in reverence of Almighty God and he will take you and those 3 inch heels farther than your two feet can travel on their own! I love you ladies and remember to walk worthy!

$3.00 WORTH OF GOD, PLEASE

$3.00 WORTH OF GOD, PLEASE

Tim Hansel in his book "When I Relax I feel Guilty," writes some insights of what most people want from God. 

"I would like to buy $3.00 worth of God, please. Not enough to explode my soul or disturb my sleep, but just enough to equal a cup of warm milk or a snooze in the sunshine. I don't want enough of Him to make me love a black man or pick beets with a migrant. I want ecstasy, not transformation; I want the warmth of the womb, not a new birth. I want a pound of the Eternal in a paper sack. I would like to buy $3.00 worth of God, please." 

If we would be totally honest, the idea of transformation really scares us. That is because we know that such a radical change would be quite uncomfortable. We realize that with transformation comes a major overhaul of our lives and priorities.

The Cost of Humility

We are all familiar with the story of Joseph and for the sake of this article, I took the liberty of being a little creative with the story.  What can I say, Joesph inspired me.  Walk Worthy Divas a.k.a. Walk Humbly before the Lord!

Josephina was loved more so by her father and the favorite of all her father's children because she was born in his old age.  Josephina was flaunted in front of her siblings as the favorite and she had a coat of many colors to prove it.  Her sisters couldn't stand her.  In fact, they saw that she was loved more than they.


But the story gets even more interesting because home girl was gifted with the interpretation of dreams.  She dreamed and couldn't wait to tell her dream to her sisters.  Now, Josephina was far from humble and/or grateful.  What she was in fact was demonstrating false humility.


Mind you, she's the youngest, raised to be a tattle tale, most loved, and daddy's favorite, had a coat of many colors, and dreamed dreams.


I can only imagine how anxious she was to tell her dream and the first group of people she shared her dreams with was her sisters and they hated her even more.  She told them that her sheaf arose and stood upright while the other sheaves (them) stood all around and bowed down to her sheaf.


One of her sisters asked, "Shall you indeed reign over us?"  You know what happened then...they hated her even more.  Are you surprised?  Let's just say, they poured on the hate!


Then she couldn't wait to tell another dream but it wasn't because she genuinely wanted to share with her family; she did so out of boasting and bragging.  It was a result of the hidden pride in her heart.

This story is often told from the angle of Joseph being compared to Christ due to his suffering and some have even portrayed Joseph as guiltless but Joseph had to learn humility.  He displayed a false humility as a result of the hidden pride within his heart.  The boasted humility is not genuine.  


Josephina when she told her dream, it wasn't because she was genuine and highly favored but it was the product of a deceptive humility.

The dreamer she was referred to as but not as a sign of honor or respect, but they mocked her.  And it makes you wonder why she was constantly under attack mostly by them closets to her but there were those who refrained from acting in response to her behavior because like her father, many of us are guilty of creating these monsters.  Instead of conspiring to kill her or to have an ill-will toward her, Joesphina's father once rebuking her because it shocked him that "his favorite" would suggest that he too along with her mother would bow down to her kept the matter in his mind.

If we be honest, God spared her life because she dodged a bullet.  Instead of being murdered by the hands of her sisters, she was thrown into an empty well. Truth be told, I'm pretty sure that Josephina could see the part she played in getting herself thrown into that pit.

I know so all to well, because so often in my alone time with God am I fortunate to see my true self, the hidden parts of me that need to be washed, flushed and purged.  Purify me oh Lord!

Favoritism, jealousy, hatred, and especially hidden pride landed her into that pit.  But the blessed assurance was that Josephina was not alone after being removed from the pit and sold into slavery.  The beauty of the story is that God was with her, she was favored not a favorite as we tend to see with humankind and she was very successful and landed a very high-profile job in the end and she was reconciled back to her family.  Most importantly, when the Lord exalted her to the place of power, and honor, the hidden pride was extracted from her heart and she operated in her gift out of  genuine humility.  


How do I know?  After the entire ordeal or trials and tribulations.....it is in Chapter 45 of Genesis that Joesphina reveals herself to her sisters and it is in verse 5 that she humbly says, "But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here (in Egypt); for God sent me before you to preserve life.


Yes, in sending her before them, God had to turn up some earth, the soil of her heart so that life could be preserved.  She suffered but not to be compared to with Christ.  She suffered but God also used her in order that her life too was saved while Christ lost his but to be resurrected!  He was without sin but we must be born-again!


Yes, Josephina saw her dreams but only in part.  She shared them boastfully with no regard to the Lord. She only gloated in her upright posture in contrast to her sisters.  In the end, Josephina was made the better for the experience and her dream benefited more than just her ego! 


"But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted," Matthew 23:12.


To God be the Glory!

Ladies I have been there and I pray if you too fall in this category that you will repent of your sins. It is not enough to be in church but not of the body in Christ. Walking worthy entails that you first be born-again! Make your calling and election sure! Your eternity is at stake! With all my heart, Born-again

Father, thank you for NEVER letting me down! You always come through, you are always there. You exceed all of my expectations! You are truly Great and Greatly to be praised!

Yes, my love for You I will never be ashamed to wear on my sleeve!

You know how some make-up advertisers say that their lipstick has outlasting shine, Ladies may the impression we leave on others be as bright or brighter for we are to reflect the light of the Son! Shine on Ladies! Shine on in Jesus' name!

WORD OF THE DAY

God continues to prove Himself faithful and the provider of all our needs (over and over again).  Whatever, He has given your hands to do, don't fret...trust that He will provide and it will get done.  You just be obedient.  Move towards the goal, even if it takes you a few baby steps a day.

Just work towards the goal until you have reached it.  

And He knows all about your life, husband, children, seminary, and the labor of love at church, etc.  You are working on HIS time table and He was the one that added all these things to your life!

He promised to complete it by placing everything in your path for it to get done.  Even when others may think you're moving too slow or not at the pace they would believe is sufficient EVEN when they may have good intentions.  God is proving yet again that He is the Pilot of this plane and the Captain of this ship.

Remember Ladies your Father said and the Word still stands true,

Isaiah 55:8-11,

   8“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways,”

declares the Lord.

9“As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10As the rain and the snow

come down from heaven,

and do not return to it

without watering the earth

and making it bud and flourish,

so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11so is my word that goes out from my mouth:

It will not return to me empty,

but will accomplish what I desire

and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

RESERVATIONS

God made reservations for a Great Feast for the sins of the world through the death of his Son, Jesus Christ so you can sup with him now and forever. Don't reject the invitation because you didn't like the Way, the Lamb was prepared. 

Remember, you may not receive another invitation.
Come to Jesus while you have time.

Ghost Whisperer:House Calls from the Dead?‏

Ghost Whisperer is a show on WeTv and the main character has the ability to see the dead (ghosts) in order to help them take care of unfinished business with "the living". Then it dawned on me, the "unfinished business" never involved repenting for their sins toward God but every one that is dead after finishing their unfinished business walks into a bright, warm light where heaven is awaiting them. At least the rich man that died and was being tormented in Luke 16 had the mind to ask if Lazarus (the dead) would return to his brothers in order "to testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment." 

Unfortunately, that is not the order of things. The once rich man was informed that even if one goes to them from the dead, they will not repent.

For every time you hear the preached Word, or every time you come across an article, or Bible lesson that beckons you to come to Jesus...take heed. Thank God for the knock on the door of your heart and consider how you will not receive a house call from the dead to warn you.  

Do not harden your hearts!

If tomorrow is not promised but hell is for them that reject the Way, the Truth and the Life, and you are in that number on your way to experience the 2nd death, know that you can't come back to warn your family and friends. You can't warn loved ones. By then its too late! 

God already made a house-call when he sent us his only begotten Son from heaven to earth to die for the sins of the world. (John 3:16-17) 

For whatever reason, when the call gets closer to home and God is specifically ringing your bell by way of reading this article, consider your soul and if you love your loved ones as much as you say you do, then its time you made a house-call!  

Remember, when you are dead, its too late. You won't be able to make phone calls beyond the grave!

And let's be honest, if a dead loved one did happen to appear with the intention of warning you from spending eternity in hell, before they were able to get a word in edge wise, you would be running trying to get away from them let alone have a conversation with them about your soul!

HI LADIES, TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!  I MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT BIRTHDAYS BECAUSE MY DAD OFTEN TIMES DIDN'T.  SO, I FEEL LIKE THE LORD BLESSED ME WITH HOOKING ME UP WITH THE MAN I LOVE WHO ALSO SHARES THE SAME DAY WITH ME.  HE'S ONE YEAR OLDER THAN I AM.

BUT ON ANOTHER NOTE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL MY LADIES WHOSE FATHERS AND MOTHERS FORGOT BUT KNOW IF YOU MADE IT TO ANOTHER YEAR OF LIFE, THINK OF IT AS GOD'S WAY OF SAYING, BABY GIRL, I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU!

I ALSO MUST MENTION HOW IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR THE GRACE OF GOD, I WOULD NOT EVEN BE ALIVE TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY.  IN 2000, MY LIFE COULD HAVE BEEN EXTINGUISHED BUT THE LORD SAID NO TO DEATH AND YES TO LIFE IN CHRIST.

Ladies, place your focus on being close to God rather than doing tasks for Him. You were saved by grace not works, right. But you will find that your close relationship with the Lord will make you desirous to do good works in His name i.e. loving your neighbor as thyself, forgiving those that sin against you, praying for your enemies, being quick to give an answer to others when asked about the blessed hope that you have, etc. 

BOUNTY MAY BE THE QUICKER, PICKER, UPPER

BUT

JESUS CHRIST IS THE SIN BLOTTER, WASHER, FORGIVER AND HE REMEMBERS THEM NO MORE!

Know Your Worth.....

Young ladies, if you are in fact suffering from the case of low self-esteem, well the way to boost it is not by settling for any Tom, Dick, and Harry. Truth be told, God did not intend for the opposite sex to be our self-esteem booster-upper. High self-esteem is a result of knowing who you are and whose you are considering you were made by, through and for Him. (Colossians 1:16) #WalkingWorthyWithYourHeadHeldHigh

"Honor Thy Mother......"

Ladies, I did not always honor my mother. As I got older, I found myself being very judgmental for the decisions she made regarding my absentee father. I began questioning if she had been the "perfect parent" but in actuality, my mother taught me the greatest lesson of all...forgiveness. 


As many times as I heard my father say, "Baby, I'm sorry," I learned that forgiveness is more than saying sorry. She had the character and the strength to do what I could not find it in my heart to do...forgive and not hold his transgressions over his head. She never tried to make him feel guilty and in my early twenties, my mother was able to answer a question that I so long wished for the answer to: "Why did you keep allowing him to return especially when you knew he was not being faithful?" She softly replied, "Because I did not want my children to grow up without their father."


Yes, my mother loved my dad, but she loved him to the extent where she forgave him so that he wouldn't miss out on the life of his three children. Unfortunately, he is still no longer in our lives but for whatever reason, I too forgive him and I thank my mother for teaching her children not to hold grudges. She taught us to forgive and let God handle the rest.


What I love even more is that the more he manipulated, the more he took advantage, the more he lied, the more he was deceiving, the more he was self-seeking, the more he was unfaithful, etc. She treated him the way she wanted to be treated. Yes, this was another lesson our mother taught us and when the two combine, my mother was able to love her children harder. Yes, she invested and there was such an outpouring of love that I at time misconstrued as strict parenting when all she was trying to do and what she was guilty of was protecting us.


No, she could not shield us from every pain but her love for us transcended beyond her family out into the world. She effected the hearts of many of our neighbors, her co-workers, even strangers but again, she upheld another biblical principle, "love thy neighbor as thyself." 


Yes, I have been guilty of not always honoring my mother but thankfully she forgave me and I in turn asked God for forgiveness so that I could accept her forgiveness, forgiving myself and forgiving those that trespass against me. 


My mom, my mommy and by no way did she allow me to call her mother because to her it was too close to the phrase "mother ******." Yes, we found that to be hilarious but respected her wishes on this request nonetheless.


No, I did not always honor my mother, but she instilled in us the principle to honor our father and now as an adult, I understand that to honor both my parents is a mere reflection of my total adoration unto God.


Yes, I did not always honor my mother or father but I came in contact with One that was willing to forgive me of my sins. Yes, I came in contact, with someone who was willing to forgive me when I had not yet decided to forgive with my whole heart. I met someone that said, "Daughter, thy sins are forgiven," and who knew that God was teaching me all the while on forgiveness through my mother.


Yes, I had the opportunity to be reconciled to my mother because she was willing to forgive. I was willing to forgive. We forgave each other and cleared up misunderstandings but most importantly, I received the blessing of my sins being forgiven and praise God that in reconciling the world back to himself through his Son, Jesus the Christ, I too have benefited by becoming the child of the Most High.


Honor thy mother....Lord God, thank you for the blessedness of obeying that command....

FAITHFUL AND FRUITFUL

DIVAS WALKING WORTHY,

May we follow Christ's example as women that live faithful and fruitful lives no longer succumbing to fearful and failing ones.

We are children of God who do not possess the spirit of fear and there is no failure because in Christ all things are possible!

Walk Worthy faithfully and be fruitful to the glory of God abounding in every good work that God predestinated for you to do through Christ Jesus!

This Holy Week began with a Triumphal Entry and it ended in Victory but in between there was a long walk involving ridicule, false testimony, denying of involvement with Jesus, flesh broken, blood poured out, a crown of thorns, mocking, the bearing of a cross, injustice inflicted upon the just but so that there would be reconciliation between God and his creation.

Yes, even through the battle leading up that hill to Golgatha, Jesus remained faithful and he produced lasting fruit benefiting the lives of sinners who would have access to a victorious end if they put their trust in Him!

Even in the Garden where fear tried to paralyze him, Jesus' faith kicked in even more so and he remembered hallelujah, as the songwriter wrote, "God wants a yes, to his will and yes to his way!"

And to that I compel each one of us to say yes, "Not my will be done, but thine will be done!" The Lord's will be done to be faithful and to be fruitful!

Yes, may our walk be faithful, and fruitful. No longer fearful and no thoughts of failure for all things are possible through God that are impossible with us!

Yes ladies, Walk Faithfully, Walk fruitfully abounding in every good work, and Walk Worthy knowing that as with each step your path is established in God's ways and will and the end there is victory awaiting us!

Divas, put on your best pair of shoes and truly break those suckers in...its been time, it is time to be fruit bearing disciples!

DIVAS walk worthy because........

I walk worthy not because I am qualified but have been redeemed by the blood of Christ.

I walk worthy not because I deserve the shoes I walk in but have been bought with a price.

I walk worthy because love lifted me out of the muck and mire of a dead life without Christ.

I walk worthy because this life I now live I do so with confidence exuding from the bright light from heaven that smiled on me that afforded me the opportunity who once was blind but now I see.

I walk worthy having been burdened by the pain leading to my passion which is to edify, and equip other young women through the word of God that have been rejected by loved ones to learn there is acceptance of an eternal Father's love through a suffering servant.

I walk worthy not because of anything good in me, but it was my sin and the lost state I was in that a Good Shepherd laid his life down for.

I walk worthy, walking on water because I keep my eyes stayed on Jesus! My mind stayed on Him, for He alone knows the depth to which I needed to be saved from.

I walk worthy because I yielded!
I walk worthy because my spirit has been quickened!
I walk worthy because living is Christ and to die is gain!
I walk worthy because my heart is no longer calloused, my mind has been renewed!
I walk worthy for the old things are passing away and I am beholding all things that are new!

The Unlovable

Divas,
It just dawned on me after praying with my sister that there are some that need a little more love than others.  I guess what I am trying to say that there are some we ought to be more patient with considering when we fall, some of us don't necessarily bounce right back at the same rate or speed.

When I think about Jesus and how he loved the unlovable i.e. prostitute, adulterer, tax collectors, lame, blind, sick, etc.  He was willing to seek not just them he was close to but he ventured out into the highways and byways.  He went the distance to love.  Love goes the extra mile.  Truly, love never fails.

If God had not loved us just a little bit more than them we so-called trusted, where would we have been? May our love be patient because the unlovable are not easy to embrace due to the callous formed on the exterior due to the harsh criticism and judgment of the world--mainly those closes to them.

Ladies, may we show forth more love by praying that we be more loving as well as patient because again there are some that truly need it more than others.  If we take the time to be honest and remember where God met us, we will understand in full that at that particular place and time, we needed a little more love too and because of what Christ did on the cross, we were made better because of it.

Jesus had to die, but have we?

Divas, as I contemplate over the question, "Why Jesus had to die," I ask myself the question, "Have I truly died to this world and my love for it or the things in this world?"

Old things must pass away before all things can become new Ladies. Have we truly traded in our "worldly shoes" to be "women walking worthy?"

What is in your life that you have not died to? What in your life must you carry to Golgotha and allow to die in order that you be resurrected to the new you?

Ladies, as we reflect during this advent season and we recall the sacrifice Christ made for us, what if any have we made to follow him? Have we died to the unfruitful works of the flesh and death or are we yet with one foot in the world and the other in church?

May our life reflect a total surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit, walking in the newness of life afforded to us by the life, death, and resurrection of Christ! May our living may not be in vain! May every step we trod be that of worthiness and not worldliness!

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

Laughter.....

Ladies, laughter is good for the soul; so loosen up a little! Smile while you're at it too! How more inviting you will be to others at exposing them to the light of Christ when you use those facial muscles to smile rather than displaying an attitude!

Put your trust in God!  As one of my great Sunday School teachers taught during one of our lessons on Trust, in order that we remember she came up with the acronym:

And as songwriter wrote, "If its on a battlefront or in the prison walls but wherever, wherever, wherever it may be, if God says GO, you put your trust in Him!  Never limit where God may lead you when souls are concerned!  Remember, Jesus had to go to the Cross!  This land is wide and vast and there are souls yet to hear the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Be willing to Go....be willing to be the church that goes out and tells the good news of the gospel.  Everyone else has their beliefs, shares their beliefs and are unapologetic about it.  Are you?  IF SO, THEN GO!

He's On Time!

Ladies, I am yet reminded today that as our car breaks down due to the need of a new alternator, we truly can't put our trust in inanimate objects. Yeah, we refer to our "earthly treasure" as old reliable until it FAILS us. On a day when AAA would have taken longer than usual to respond, today as I fast, I am reminded what if I was waiting on God. He is worth waiting for and the time it takes for God to answer it is always perfect and never for naught!!! God you never fail, and out of respect and reverence for you Your Majesty, I will never refer to you as Good Ole' Faithful but I believe Ancient of Days! We existed before days were established and I trust you to have been faithful then as you are faithful today and evermore! Thank you for being Ever-Present, Ever-Knowing, and Ever Powerful but I would like to add Ever-faithful! Thank you Father, for being so faithful not only to me but to all of your children even when we are not! You will not deny yourself! Btw, AAA came 15mins after the phone call plus there was no fee for towing! Thank you for answering, and thank you for answering right on time!

Father God, I lift up your young people today for they too grow tired and weary but your Word also says but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen! Young people, be encouraged, God can heal and he can deliver....he can mend your brokenness. He has a miracle to fit your need. Trust in the Lord....trust in the Lord for he never fails!

Gracious God my eternal Father! Thank you for the Prayers of the Righteous Availeth Much! The young man  has been found and he is safe! In Jesus' name, amen!

Ladies, please pray for a young man.  he is missing and may try to commit suicide.  the enemy may think he has him but not while the righteous are praying and prayer produces great results.  please pray that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.  i pray that he be found.  i pray that the search team will not grow weary while looking for him.  i pray that he turns back on his phone.  i pray that there be someone interceding.  i pray that he may even reach out.  lord god, i know you hear me and i know you answer prayers.  please answer lord. in jesus' name i pray amen!

Redeeming the time......

Divas, let's not leave room for anymore excuses but making the most out of every opportunity by being wise with our time and talents/gifts not succumbing or falling prey to missed opportunities in order that the world can see evidence of a risen Savior in the lives of both you and me! TGBTG!

LOVE IS NOT ALWAYS RECIPROCATED BUT IT DOES NOT CEASE TO LOVE......


If we be honest, the "love" that we expect to be reciprocated unto us from others was not the love we readily accepted and was available since eternity. In fact, we had to believe in order to receive the love of God that loved us first. God took "the risk" by putting his heart on the line for us and paid the ultimate sacrifice with the life of his Son. If we be honest, it should behoove us each awakening moment of how much God loved us while we were still in our sins. How can we who are called by his name not love ye one another, our enemies and then in turns be grateful for the love that teaches us how to love ourselves? See what happens when you love the LORD with ALL your heart, mind, and soul! Thank God for Jesus!

You were fearfully and wonderfully made.  God made you and not you yourselves.  He didn’t assign the task of creating you to someone else.  No, he weaved and knitted you in your mother’s womb himself.  God orchestrated the symphony of your creation by titling it with your name.  Yes, write your name here______________________ and read aloud,

____________________________ was fearfully and wonderfully made.  The Potter placed his hands in the earth and created you from the dust.  All powerful and magnificent, holy and all wise God came so close that He didn’t sit from afar and created you, no He close and person while involved in the process.  He didn’t stand by and give orders while He watched someone else form you in your mother’s womb, but He was at the forefront of the assembling.

He is the reason you have breath and are able to have life but eternal life He desires for you.  Yes, He that has made you wants to commune with you.  He does not want you to live isolated from Him but he desires to walk with you.  He desires to talk with you.  He wants to be close but he refuses to invade your personal space.  Instead, He would rather that you invite Him into your heart.

Eternity yes, he wants you to spend with him but here on earth, he desires fellowship and sweet communion.   When he knocks on the door of your heart, will you answer?  When he tells you that he loves you, will you believe him?  He offered both you and the entire world his most precious gift, his only Son to be a ransom for sin-sickness but will you accept Him?

Fearfully and wonderfully made you are not because you chose to be but God……God, again the Potter and you are the clay—how can you be comfortable living without getting to know Him?  How can you say you love him but walk apart from Him? Will you bow down and worship Him?  Will you?

You have trusted in everything and accessed nothing in return except regret, hurt and pain.  However, the One that fearfully and wonderfully made you wonderful for you too are one of His works will steer clear away from Him.  Your heart is in need of a transplant and He is the only surgeon that can perform the procedure.  Will you come?

He created you yes, but the sin you are in was originated from Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  A sentence of death was then transferred to life thru the Son, Jesus the Christ is his name.  Will you say yes?  The breath you breathe keeps your body physically alive but spiritually you’re dead.  Will you trust Him?

You who want to be spiritually revived, come by the Potter’s house.  He’s knocking will you let him come into the doors of your heart?  He’s knocking until his Son returns again.  Will you let Him in? 

A fool says in heart there is no God and deny God is to deny the very one that gave you life.  It is God who has made us and not we ourselves.  How can you deny Him?  You want a hope and a future you say, well  Jesus is the door to the promises of God.  Will you say yes?  Say yes while you have time!

LOVE is not.........

Ladies,
I don't know who I am talking to but please know that the way to love is not through your panties. We are in search of love but offer up our bodies in ignorance and desperation for attention to "prove" our love and affection to someone that is possibly in the same shape or worst shape than we are.

The truth of the matter is,we settle for sex. We are full aware that the kisses, the warm caress, etc does not equate to love but we settle. We settle while finding ourselves in a dark place, alone with no one to attend to the true issues going on in our hearts.

We are lonely, we are afraid and we are bruised emotionally and broken but we can be healed.

Before you find yourself laying across from someone you don't love and the someone does not love you.....start by being honest with yourself.  There is nothing wrong with wanting to be held.  There is nothing wrong with desiring to share your life with someone you love and who loves you.

Consider the love from someone that loved you first.
Consider the love from someone that loves God first.
Consider how much they love themselves.
Consider how much more they will love you.

Consider a LOVE that is sacrificial and does not require you to sell your soul or worship any other than the ONE TRUE LIVING GOD!

He will ever lie to you.
He will never mistreat you.
He will never mislead you.
He will never ask you to give more of yourself than he has already sacrificed.  And that which he asks of you to give up does not profit you in the end.

God loves you daughter!  Before giving your body over to another, give your life back to HIM!  He can be trusted.  Believe me, I know from experience!

Used to walk looking for love in all the wrong places but now I Walk Worthy into the arms of my Heavenly Father Divas!

To All My Divas that have been there, delivered from that and knows a young woman that may be headed down the same path that you were once on, expose them to the truth....

The hole in your heart due to the issues of life was never meant to be fixed by the spaces in between your legs. 


Although for the moment, the time may be enjoyable, unfortunately you will find that every plug wasn't designed to fit every socket or even if it fits, it was not designed to be the remedy for that specific problem.

At times I may not understand

What lies ahead of me

But there is only one Captain of my ship

The one and only true living God who holds the key to my destiny

There is only one who can see my inner beauty

Yes my God is a very important part of me

Although they may judge you

Making every attempt to prove the statistics are right

No matter how much effort you put forth

Remember when you follow Jesus your future will always look bright

There is only one who can see your inner beauty

And His opinion of you is always trust worthy

He is God

And everything He created is good

Regardless of what society's views are about you

Say to yourself, "The only opinion that matters to me

Knowing He would never do anything that would ever harm me
